A web design degree from Thomas More University prepares students to be professionals in a fast-paced web design career. Students explore the relationship between art and computer information systems by studying theory, technical knowledge, and hands-on experience.

Thomas More offers small classes taught by faculty with extensive experience in the IT industry.

Students will be learning to create websites and interactive web applications.

Faculty teaching in this program consist of educators with proven experience in the IT field. Full-time faculty have more than 30 years of industry experience working in software development, web development, networking, solution implementation, and IT consulting. These faculty are assisted by currently practicing IT professionals who adjunct part time at Thomas More.

Alumni who have earned a degree from Thomas More in web design have gained employment at companies such as Great American Insurance, Frutarom, Projetech, and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Careers in web design include the following:

  • Website Designer
  • UI/UX designer
  • Web Master
  • Web Content Manager

Students will have experiential learning opportunities including internships and a senior capstone project.
