Public Health
Minor
Through the Department of Health Sciences, Thomas More offers a minor in public health. The public health minor provides students with an introduction to the key areas of public health including health promotion, biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental health, and global health. Additionally, students have the opportunity to individualize their minor by taking elective hours from specific public health areas. The public health minor will provide a path to prepare interested students for a graduate career in public health. Additionally, the minor complements a variety of majors by offering insights into how public health concepts can be applied across different disciplines such as business, biology, political science, exercise science and more, preparing students for diverse careers in healthcare, policy, research, and community health initiatives.
