Experience

As a Theatre Major at Thomas More College, you will receive a broad-based education in theatre arts built upon a large liberal arts foundation. The program provides a balance of practical and theoretical knowledge. The required courses in Acting, Directing, Production and Design are linked to offerings in History of Theatre and dramatic literature.

You will be assisted in developing your own special interests and talents by choosing elective courses in such areas as playwriting, Make-up, Stage Movement and Styles of Performance. You will also be encouraged to create opportunities for personalized independent study. Upon completion of your course of study, you should be able to oversee effectively all aspects of a dramatic production.
