Please read each description of the two program options offered at Thomas More for our Gemini Program. Each program is different and requires different applications. If you are unsure about which program you need to apply for, please contact your guidance counselor before applying.

Dual Credit:

Students taking classes at their high school campuses. This includes:

  • Kenton County Academies
  • Boone County's Early College Campus
  • Please ask your guidance counselor if you are unsure

Ability to take up to two courses or 6 credit hours from Thomas More per semester

Must submit transcript and application in order to be registered for course
  • Students will not be processed or registered for course(s) until all necessary paperwork is completed

Students will receive a Thomas More grade report for every course taken for credit. These credits are transferable to other accredited colleges and universities, subject to each institution's transfer policies.

Early Admission Program:

The EAP application opens on November 12th, 2018 and closes December 12th, 2018. All applications must have transcript submitted in order to be complete. Please submit transcripts to gemini@thomasmore.edu

Students taking courses on Thomas More's campus in Crestview Hills, KY

Eligibility

The Gemini Dual Credit Program is open to junior or senior high school students who:

  • Have submitted a High School Transcript showing the student has completed 2 units of English, 2 units of Science, 2 units of Mathematics and 2 units in Social Studies.
  • Have an overall GPA of 3.5 or better in the above units.

Students not meeting the above requirements may be admitted to the program with the joint approval of the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Thomas More College (or designee) and the student's guidance counselor.

Once enrolled in the Gemini program, to register for subsequent semesters a student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 in Thomas More courses. This requirement is set up to assist students in meeting the goal of successfully earning college credit at the high school level.
