Prepare Your Path

Thomas More College offers you two options for a Bachelor of Arts in English. You can complete the traditional English major with a focus on British and American literature, or an English major in Creative Writing, which features a variety of writing workshops along with literary studies. Pairing an English major with another degree makes you that much more marketable. Some of our recent English graduates also hold degrees in psychology, communications, theater, art, theology and biology.

At Thomas More, you'll find one-of-akind opportunities to get involved beyond the classroom that clearly enhance your personal and professional growth. For example, our Words literary magazine is entirely managed by students, providing experience in creative writing, art, editorial management, layout, publicity and distribution management. You can also work in our Writing Center as a tutor, join the creative activities of the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honorary or study abroad through the CCSA program.
