The study of Computer Information Systems focuses on the design, development, and implementation of application systems and system software. It includes the analysis, management, and dissemination of information via the computer usage. Computer systems and telecommunication networks, of varying sizes, pervade our culture and affect every aspect of our daily lives.

Major Specializations: Computer Information Systems and Microcomputer Application Systems, the later is microcomputer specific and requires no programming.
