Student Achievement Measures

Thomas More College has several goals to measure student achievement. College level measures and data are at http://thomasmore.edu/about/student_achievement_measures.cfm. Measures specific to the Accountancy, Business Administration, and Sports and Entertainment Marketing programs are below. These programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

Student Goal 1: Retention and Graduation

Thomas More College annually tracks the retention and graduation rates of students by program.

Retention rates are calculated for first-time, full-time incoming traditional students based on retention to the second year.

Graduation rates are based on completion within 150% of normal time to completion. For instance, bachelor's programs typically completed within four years have a six year graduation rate. Master's programs typically completed within two years have a six year graduation rate.

Student Goal 2: Academic Preparedness

Student Goal 3: Postgraduate Employment and Graduate Programs

Thomas More College tracks graduate activities immediately following graduation in accordance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act. Students are surveyed and contacted by the Thomas More College Success Center within six months of graduation. The College tracks both the knowledge rate (percentage of students for which we have information) and the career outcome rate (percentage employed, continuing education, in the US Armed Forces, or in a volunteer program) within six months of graduation.
