Welcome from the Nursing Department at Thomas More College. Nursing requires a special blend of scientific knowledge, technological know-how and compassion. Your coursework at Thomas More College will strengthen your understanding and skills in each of these areas. The goal of our faculty is to prepare you to be a generalist with an excellent foundation for graduate school and for serving the health care needs of the community.

The baccalaureate nurse is prepared to function independently in a variety of health care settings as well as interdependently with other members of the health care team.  Baccalaureate nursing education fosters one’s acceptance of responsibility for self learning and for continuing personal and professional growth. Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in nursing.  The accelerated RN-BSN degree program will help you reach your professional goals, through a trusted program while enabling you to balance your work and home responsibilities. 

Accelerated 8 week course sequence approximately 15 months to complete

  • Take one in-class course which meets once a week 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
  • Take an online course offered concurrent to the in-class session
