Scholarship Information

The annual cost of tuition, fees, room, and board at Thomas More College is approximately $30,000 per academic year. Additional costs, which include health insurance, medical care, miscellaneous purchases, etc. tend to total approximately $2,000 on an annual basis. In compliance with SEVIS regulations, Thomas More College requires all international students to show how their education and additional expenses will be covered while studying at Thomas More College. In addition to proof of health insurance and certain immunizations, proof of financial support must be provided in order for a Form I-20 to be issued to an admitted international student.

Thomas More College offers institutional scholarships to non-U.S. citizens based on the following categories.

True International Students* and International Students Attending a US High School

Students who are non-US citizens graduating from an international high school and are admitted to Thomas More College are eligible for scholarships based on the following criteria:

Grade Point Average of 3.0+ (on 4.0 scale)
23+ ACT, 1060+ SAT $13,000
20-22 ACT, 940-1050 SAT $11,000

International Graduating from US High School

Students accepted to Thomas More College who have resided in the US and graduated from a US high school for one calendar year prior to enrolling at TMC will be eligible for merit based aid with the same requirements as a US citizen with a minimum of $7,000 for unconditional admits and up to a maximum of $14,000.

Grade Point Average of 3.0+ (on 4.0 scale) and:
26+ ACT, 1170+ SAT $14,000
23-25 ACT, 1060-1160 SAT $13,000
20-22 ACT, 940-1050 SAT $11,000

International Students Transferring from a US College

Regardless of the number of hours transferring, international students who have attended a US college for one academic year prior to matriculating at TMC and are accepted to TMC will be eligible for merit based aid on the same scale as US citizens up to a maximum of the lowest presidential scholarship amount.

Transfer Presidential $14,000 Minimum 4.0 GPA and 30 transferable credit hours
Deans Transfer $8,000 - $12,000 2.5-3.99 GPA and 24 transferable credit hours
Transfer Award $5,000 2.0-2.49 GPA and 24 transferable credit hours
