Mary Jo Nead, M.A.
Communication has been Professor Nead's career since elementary school. Beginning with a graduation speech from Kindergarten and editor of her junior high newspaper, her career and education have progressed with the dramatic media changes that have changed all of our lives. A degree in Journalism from Northwestern led to featured roles on the CBS Radio outlet in Cincinnati. Moving from broadcast to print journalism, she has been a regular contributor to the Cincinnati Enquirer. She also applied her journalism and writing expertise to the business world as a public relations specialist. Gracuate studies in communcation at the University of Cincinnati and the University of Kentucky gave her a deeper and broader knowledge of the career she had loved since elementary school.
She has taught communication at UC, NKU, EKU, UK and Xavier. She is a full time, tenured professor now in her tenth year at TMC.
When not rooting for the Saints, she and her husband are regulars at Bengals games. You can also see them hiking on local trails and along the Ohio River. She has three grown children and seven adorable grandchildren.
