Alana holds a B.F.A. in Theatre from Concordia University in Montréal, Québec, and an MFA in Directing from The University of Mississippi. Recent certifications include 200 hour teacher certification with the Yoga Alliance, and recognition as an actor-combatant with S.A.F.D. Ms Ghent has directed and performed in the U.S. and Canada. Locally, she has worked with Ovation Theatre Company, The Showboat Majestic, and Kincaid Regional Theatre. Ms Ghent is the president of the Kentucky Theatre Association, and the Artistic Director of Ovation Theatre Company. Special interests include movement for actors, and intersections of community and art.
