Dr. John Ernst

Dr. John Ernst received his doctorate in social psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1995, where his doctoral research was on the psychophysiology of mood and stress. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Ohio State University where he focused on the psychophysiology of loneliness. He was an associate professor at Illinois Wesleyan University. He has been at TMC since 2005. His areas of research interest are predjudice, stress, objectification, and usability.
He is also director of the Thomas More College Success Center and Assessment Coordinator for the college’s QEP on Critical Thinking.
